The company was founded by cameramen Jon Hillyer and Jarrod Roberts in 2002. With 20 years experience each working in the UK, Europe and worldwide, Jon and Jarrod have established a joint reputation for shooting broadcast television of the highest standard.
Working across a range of genres including documentaries, current affairs, news, entertainment, children’s, corporate and sport, Jon and Jarrod bring extensive experience, skill and enthusiasm to all of their assignments.
Living just south of Manchester city centre, they are perfectly placed for all major road networks and international airports for travel in the UK and beyond. Likewise, they work in the heart of Manchester and its neighbouring Salford, together key locations for culture, creativity and broadcasting itself.
HillyerRoberts owns and operates the latest broadcast equipment including HD and tapeless formats and offers a facility which includes customised crew vans which are fully kitted out for clients’ requirements. Jon and Jarrod take a dedicated interest in leading edge camera technology and techniques and continually invest to provide a professional, highly reliable and creative service for their clients.
